If you are seeking relief from a specific area of pain or tension, we recommend booking a massage every 7–10 days for 4–5 consecutive sessions to achieve the best results.
Please consult with your therapist about your needs. Remedial Massage, Premium Remedial or Original Thai Massage are often the most suitable options, but your therapist will help determine the best approach for your condition.
-
"No pain, no gain" can sometimes apply, especially with Remedial, Original Thai, or Premium Remedial Massages. These treatments are designed to target tense muscles, trigger points, and nerve pathways, which may lead to temporary soreness or inflammation following the session.
This response is a normal part of the healing process, as the therapist works to release built-up tension and break down muscle knots. The body may feel tender as it begins to recover and reset.
If you have concerns about pressure levels or discomfort during the massage, please speak up so our therapists can adjust the treatment to suit your needs and preferences.
-
It’s common to feel sore for 2–5 days after receiving a Remedial, Original Thai, or Premium Remedial Massage. This is a normal response as your body adjusts and heals.
To support your recovery, we recommend:
Taking warm showers to help relax the muscles
Resting and avoiding strenuous activity
Staying well-hydrated
Avoiding excessive alcohol and caffeine intake
-
We recommend taking a shower before your massage for your comfort and hygiene. However, we understand that some clients may be coming straight from work or other commitments—your therapist will be understanding of your situation.
We also suggest eating a light meal prior to your session. Avoid heavy meals, as they may cause discomfort during the massage.
Lastly, please take a moment to read through our policies before your appointment to ensure a smooth and relaxing experience.
-
We welcome clients who are at least 3 months (12 weeks) pregnant, as this ensures greater safety for both you and your baby during treatment.
For prenatal clients, we primarily recommend Aromatherapy Massage. However, Remedial Massage is also available, using firm to medium pressure and avoiding certain areas of the body as a precaution.
These guidelines are in place because your safety and the healthy development of your baby is our highest priority. We follow best practices to minimise any risk of complications.
-
Yes, you can receive a massage after giving birth; however, the recommended waiting period depends on the type of delivery:
Natural (vaginal) birth: Please wait at least 1 month before receiving a massage.
C-section or surgical birth: Please wait at least 2 months, or until you have received clearance from your healthcare provider.
Your recovery and wellbeing are our top priorities. We strongly encourage you to consult with your doctor before booking your appointment.
Our therapists are experienced in supporting postnatal recovery and can tailor treatments to your needs. In some cases, we have supported mothers with uterine repositioning through specialised massage techniques. During pregnancy, the uterus expands and may shift downward; massage can help guide the uterus back toward its optimal position.
Please do not eat for 3 hours before your appointment. Drinking water is encouraged to stay hydrated.

Many of our clients experience lower back pain, which can often be related to tension in the abdominal area. Your stomach and lower back are interconnected through nerves, muscles, and the body’s overall structure.
For this reason, we recommend including abdominal massage as part of your treatment to help relieve tension and reduce pain.
You can book one of our deep tissue massage options for this treatment, including Remedial Massage, Original Thai Massage, Premium Remedial Massage, or Thai Herbal Compress Massage.
Please do not eat for at least 3 hours before your appointment, but drinking water is encouraged to stay hydrated.
If you would like abdominal massage included, please let your massage therapist know before the session or inform the receptionist when booking.
